Crimea Development Fund was founded in 2010 to promote the social activities of inhabitants of Crimea, the formation of a responsible community and to overcome the consequences of the 20th century catastrophe – genocide of the deportation in 1944.
As a non-government, non-profit and charitable organization the Fund, builds partnership relations with cultural, scientific, national and other organizations and supports projects that promote the development of Crimea.
Activities of the Fund cover wide range of problems in the life of Crimea, and focus primarily on the providing of targeted assistance in three main areas: Research & Studies, Information & Media, Cultural Projects

| The Crimean Heritage | The Crimean Heritage project is one of the key projects of the Crimean Development Fund. Its main aim is the popularization of the humanitarian heritage of the great thinkers and public figures of the last century, whose activities are to some extent connected with the Crimea or valuable for its development – Ismail Gasprinsky, Petro Grygorenko and Andrei Sakharov. These three people, through their work and efforts largely determined the direction of the humanitarian development of Crimea and all of Ukraine, Europe and Asia. It can be claimed that their heritage is the basis for the formation of a stable and peaceful Crimean community, a community capable of generating internal meanings and integral ideas for the whole region. The project “Crimean Heritage” calls to reflect on what kind of peace we will leave to our descendants, and helps to begin to form it on the basis of the great heritage of its predecessors. |

Gasprinsky contest | Within the framework of the Crimean Heritage project, the Foundation holds an annual competition for the best works dedicated to the heritage of Ismail Gasprinsky, an outstanding educator, philosopher, publisher, public figure and patron of arts.
