Crimea Development Fund was founded in 2010 to promote the social activities of inhabitants of Crimea, the formation of a responsible community and to overcome the consequences of the 20th century catastrophe – genocide of the deportation in 1944.

As a non-government, non-profit and charitable organization the Fund, builds partnership relations with cultural, scientific, national and other organizations and supports projects that promote the development of Crimea.

Activities of the Fund cover wide range of problems in the life of Crimea, and focus primarily on the providing of targeted assistance in three main areas: Research & Studies, Information & Media, Cultural Projects

Exposition “Suzani – the guardian of life” Exhibition dedicated to ritual sewing of Central Asia of the 19th-20th centuries. The official delegations of the OSCE, the European Union, the heads of the UN missions, WTO, WHO, UNICEF, heads of the diplomatic missions of the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Japan. As a whole about 40 representations. Agenda of the meetings included most important issues of the Crimean Tatar people, as well as the initiative to hold, under the aegis of the OSCE, an international forum dedicated to the problems of deportees. Cooperation with the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Memorandum of Cooperation with the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, which supported the organization and holding of the International Forum of the OSCE on the restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar people in their homeland, ensuring its security and guarantees in Ukraine. The Crimean Heritage The Crimean Heritage project is one of the key projects of the Crimean Development Fund. Its main aim is the popularization of the humanitarian heritage of the great thinkers and public figures of the last century, whose activities are to some extent connected with the Crimea or valuable for its development – Ismail Gasprinsky, Petro Grygorenko and Andrei Sakharov.
These three people, through their work and efforts largely determined the direction of the humanitarian development of Crimea and all of Ukraine, Europe and Asia. It can be claimed that their heritage is the basis for the formation of a stable and peaceful Crimean community, a community capable of generating internal meanings and integral ideas for the whole region. The project “Crimean Heritage” calls to reflect on what kind of peace we will leave to our descendants, and helps to begin to form it on the basis of the great heritage of its predecessors.

Gasprinsky contest Within the framework of the Crimean Heritage project, the Foundation holds an annual competition for the best works dedicated to the heritage of Ismail Gasprinsky, an outstanding educator, philosopher, publisher, public figure and patron of arts. The subject of the contest is diverse – from the study of the heritage of Ismail Gasprinsky in the issues of the relations between the cultures of Europe and Asia, the coexistence of different nationalities and confessions to the study of the material monuments of life and activity of Gasprinsky in the Crimea. 2012
Annual Grygorenko readings Annual Grygorenko readings, is the public initiative launched in 1996. During the “Readings” students, public and academic figures deliver reports on topics related to the development of a free society, overcoming manifestations of xenophobia, intolerance and debunking myths and stereotypes of the past. Event includes also trips of veterans and activists to the homeland of General Petro Grygorenko, as well as to begin work on the preparation for the publication of his works by a separate publication. 2012

The Crimea Forum – meeting of prominent human rights defenders and dissidents Fund organized and held a large-scale meeting in the Crimea of ​​prominent Soviet human rights defenders and dissidents. More than 40 people attended the event from the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Armenia, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and other countries, including Vladimir Bukovsky, Tatyana Yankelevich (Bonner), Lyudmila Aleksandrova, Sergei Kovalev, Andrei Grigorenko, Mustafa Dzhemilev, Vasil Ovsienko and others. As a result of the meeting, the Crimean Forum – a public organization of human rights activists and dissidents of the Soviet period, – was set up whose goal was to help building civil society in the Crimea and preventing the social conflicts. 2012
Ethnic holiday “Hidirlez” Fund acted as one of the main sponsors of the largest ethnic holiday in the Crimea, “Hidirlez”, in which about 10,000 people took part in 2011, more than 20,000 people in 2012, and in 2013 – about 40.000 people.
